Job Title: Transportation/Traffic Engineering Team Leader

At Herbert Rowland & Grubic, we are seeking a seasoned Transportation/Traffic Engineering Team Leader to join our team of professionals in Cranberry Township, PA.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team in successfully completing traffic projects, including scheduling and budgeting.
  • Perform traffic project design, including intersections, signalization, drainage, and pavement.
  • Assist with traffic and transportation municipal design reviews.
  • Perform QA/QC and seal plans and reports.
  • Assist with preparing and administering construction contracts.
  • Participate in business development activities and represent the company in project presentations.
  • Ensure client delivery and satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) in Pennsylvania or ability to secure through reciprocity within 6 months.
  • Professional Traffic Operations Engineer (PTOE) desired but not required.
  • Eight (8) or more years of technical competency and project experience, including projects such as traffic impact studies, municipal traffic engineering services, traffic signalization, corridor studies, intersection improvements, PennDOT highway occupancy permits, maintenance and protection of traffic, and ADA curb ramp design.
  • Minimum 2-4 years of project management experience, with ability to provide timely project deliverables and develop and maintain excellent client satisfaction.
