Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled RN Clinical Lead to join our team at Ascension Wisconsin. As a key member of our nursing leadership team, you will be responsible for coordinating unit staffing, providing leadership, and ensuring the implementation of clinical objectives and quality patient care for one or more assigned nursing specialty areas.

Responsibilities
  • Assign, direct, educate, and monitor nursing and support associates during assigned shifts.
  • Meet with staff and exercise independent judgment to plan shifts, services, and patient care.
  • Assess daily patient care needs and develop and distribute patient care assignments, ensuring population-appropriate patient care is given.
  • Respond to complaints about patient care and manage through established channels.
  • Facilitate availability of adequate materials, resources, and supplies.
  • Set priorities appropriate to daily patient/physician dynamics.
  • Provide input into hiring, training, directing, development, and evaluation of staff.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • BLS Provider certification within 1 month of hire date.
  • Registered Nurse licensure from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing.
  • 1 year of cumulative job-specific experience.
