Job Overview

The Licensed Clinical Social Worker - Psychotherapist applies psychological/counseling principles in the following areas: assessment, clinical interventions, research, training, case management, consultation, program development and supervises non-licensed staff (when applicable).

Responsibilities
  • Diagnosis, evaluation, treatment, discharge planning and supervise mental health services provided to participants.
  • Provides a variety of interventions such as individual, group, couple and family therapy in the PACE setting.
  • Integrates behavioral health services with the PACE interdisciplinary team and community agencies to ensure appropriate participant care as outlined in the care plan.
Requirements
  • Professional Licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker by the California Behavioral Science Board.
  • Minimum 2 -4 years experience working with the elderly or disabled adults.
  • Master's in Social Work required.
  • Must maintain current BLS certificate. (If not current, must obtain current BLS certification within first six months of association with AltaMed Health Services Corporation).
  • Direct experience with evidence based treatments for individual, group & families therapy sessions (Coping with death/dying, Coping with Stress, Cancer support discussion, etc.).
Compensation

$81, $101,471.34 annually

Actual salary offers are considered by various factors, including budget, experience, skills, education, licensure and certifications, and other business considerations.

The range is subject to change. AltaMed is committed to ensuring a fair and competitive compensation package that reflects the candidate's value and the role's strategic importance within the organization.
