Key Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on all mechanical components of packaging equipment, including conveyors and food processing machines.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues within the facility.
- Ensure safe installation and maintenance of machinery, focusing on manufacturing mechanics.
- Complete necessary documentation in accordance with departmental standards.
- Adhere to all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
- Follow safety protocols compliant with OSHA regulations.
- Handle hazardous materials and waste safely and responsibly.
- Assist with parts inventory management and other technical repairs as needed.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Proficient in English; bilingual skills (English/Spanish) are advantageous.
- Ability to read and troubleshoot control systems, including basic relay logic and ladder diagrams.
- Willingness to work in a cool environment, approximately 40 degrees.
- Skilled in using hand tools and measuring instruments.
- Strong hand-eye coordination for effective tool use.
- Adaptable to changing priorities based on operational needs.
- Capable of multitasking effectively.
- Ability to stand and walk for the entire shift.
- Physical capability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Experience in food manufacturing or processing is a plus.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Hourly wage between $28 and $35, depending on experience.

Work Schedule:
- Shifts typically begin as early as 3:00 AM to prepare production lines.

- Overtime may be required due to staffing needs.
Weekend Work:
- Facility operates continuously, requiring weekend shifts.
- Technicians may be scheduled to work either Saturday or Sunday, with shifts rotating based on departmental requirements.
- Efforts will be made to balance weekend work to prevent technician burnout.
Summary:
- This role demands flexibility with early starts, potential overtime, and weekend shifts to ensure continuous facility operations.
