The Facilities Maintenance Manager will oversee intricate, non-repetitive managerial tasks aimed at monitoring departmental performance on a daily basis. This role involves guiding Supervisors and Lead associates to ensure that all documentation is accurately completed and submitted in a timely manner. A key responsibility is to uphold a safe working environment while ensuring compliance with all necessary procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct daily inspections of supply releases.
  • Identify and prioritize planned maintenance work.
  • Supervise CMMS / SAP work order submissions.
  • Monitor the progress of ongoing projects.
  • Collaborate with external partners for maintenance and capital improvement solutions.
  • Participate in daily operational meetings.
  • Execute weekly safety and equipment audits.
  • Attend KPI and Capital project meetings.
  • Prepare and submit CERs as necessary.
  • Manage assigned capital projects and prepare relevant KPIs.
  • Oversee budget management within assigned departments.
  • Foster a collaborative team environment.
  • Direct the use of SAP CMMS and the BOSS System.
  • Provide assistance to designated production areas.
  • Conduct regular facility walk-throughs.
  • Facilitate team development through consistent one-on-one meetings.
  • Track the status of ongoing projects.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Comprehensive understanding of industry and plant-wide equipment.
  • Familiarity with CERs, budget management, safety protocols, and food safety standards.
  • Strong team-building capabilities and leadership insight.

Education & Experience

  • A minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience.
  • Proven experience with machinery and equipment is essential.
  • A degree in a related field is not mandatory.
