Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Design Project Manager to lead our transportation infrastructure projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for directing and monitoring all aspects of our projects, mentoring design engineers, and overseeing project teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct and monitor all aspects of projects, including design, construction, and project close-out.
  • Mentor and guide design engineers and project teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Develop, review, and comment on design documents and specifications.
  • Primary point of communication for clients, subconsultants, and internal coordination.
  • Develop proposals, project budgets, and ensure projects are completed according to time and budget schedules.
  • Supervise the completion, quality check, and approval of client proposals and contracts.
  • Track project actual expenditures versus planned expenditures and review and approve monthly billing invoices.
  • Prepare monthly progress reports and advise clients of expenditure status as needed.
Requirements
  • B.S. or M.S. in Civil Engineering and a minimum 6 years of civil design experience in transportation, infrastructure, and/or municipal engineering industries.
  • PE license preferred.
  • Working knowledge and experience with state and regional regulations.
  • Project experience working with IDOT, Tollway, CDOT, various counties, and/or local municipalities.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Knowledge of MicroStation and Geopak.
  • Valid driver's license required.
