About the Role:

The Behavioral Support Specialist will work under the supervision of the Program Director and receive regular face-to-face supervision. Key responsibilities include training new employees, developing monthly schedules, facilitating house meetings, and transporting clients to appointments. This role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 1 year experience working with clients in a residential setting
  • Completion of 80 hours of training in alcohol and other drug abuse counseling within 4 years
  • Current West Virginia Driver's License and proof of insurance
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Benefits:

This role offers a competitive salary range of $15.00 - $15.00 per hour, depending on experience. Regular attendance and flexibility to work overtime are required. The ideal candidate will be 21 years of age or older and have a high school diploma. They will also require current evidence of successful completion of a biennial training program in CPR and a triennial training program in first aid.
