Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at Highland Place Rehab & Nursing Center. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, promoting their physical and emotional well-being, and supporting our nursing staff in delivering exceptional patient care.

Job Summary:

The Certified Nursing Assistant will be responsible for providing direct resident care, including personal care, ambulation, and vital sign monitoring. You will work closely with our nursing team to develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring that each resident receives the highest level of care and attention.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care to residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Ambulate and transfer residents using assistive devices and proper body mechanics
  • Monitor and record vital signs, weights, and measurements
  • Assist with feeding, toileting, and other activities of daily living
  • Participate in collecting data for the Minimum Data Set (MDS) and plan of care
  • Support residents in making choices and promoting independence
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members
  • Maintain accurate records and reports
Requirements:
  • Current Nursing Assistant Certification from the state
  • Maintain CPR Certification
  • High School Graduate or GED
Working Conditions:

The Certified Nursing Assistant will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, interacting with residents, families, and healthcare team members. You will be required to work beyond normal duty hours, on weekends, and in other positions temporarily, when necessary.

Physical and Sensory Requirements:

The Certified Nursing Assistant will be required to lift, push, and pull residents and equipment, as well as stand, walk, and sit for extended periods. You will also be required to work in a variety of environments, including resident rooms, common areas, and outdoor spaces.
