We are seeking an experienced Escrow Officer to join our team at Parkway Title. As an Escrow Officer, you will be responsible for handling all duties related to the closing process while maintaining open communication with all parties involved.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and review documents such as surveys, sale purchase contracts, preliminary title reports, and lenders' instructions/loan documents.
  • Collaborate with the title department to clear any title defects by ordering partial or full releases of lien as needed.
  • Manage a large pipeline while maintaining time frame requirements and continuous communication with builder coordinators, buyers, lenders, and realtors.
  • Prepare title/escrow company documents for closings and ensure accuracy.
  • Collect all taxes and HOAs, and any delinquencies or principle and interest associated with the purchase property.
  • Complete the closing and funding process by obtaining funding numbers, copying closing packages for buyers/realtors, disbursing funds to all parties via wire or check, and preparing and FedEx lender packages.
  • Filing recordable documents via e-recording and sending files for title policy preparation.
Requirements
  • Prior experience working on a builder account and handling all escrow/closings.
  • Knowledge of Title industry software, SoftPro a plus.
  • Excellent phone and customer service skills required.
  • Exceptional verbal and written skills.
  • Must possess multitasking skills.
  • Extremely organized and detailed oriented.
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain strong, positive working relationships with internal peers and external business partners.
