As a fire alarm inspector, you will be responsible for conducting routine inspections, testing, service, and preventative maintenance on electrical, sprinkler, or fire suppression systems and product lines. You will work with low voltage wiring and associated devices, complete service acknowledgements, and follow a highly structured inspection schedule.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting routine inspections and testing of fire alarm systems

  • Completing service acknowledgements and following a structured inspection schedule
  • Providing technical training to less senior inspectors and trainees

Requirements include:

  • Texas Fire alarm license and ability to obtain and retain any required licenses
  • 5-10 years' experience in fire alarm service
  • Experience in reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, and operational manuals
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions and work in a team environment
  • Valid driver's license and driving record that meets company requirements
