Supply Chain Director & Partnerships Role

This position is based in Palo Alto, CA or Guilford, CT and offers an annual base salary between $180k - $230k. The role is focused on developing a supply chain strategy for the Swoop medical device, ensuring compliance with company standards and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deploy the overall supply chain strategy for Swoop, addressing capacity, cost, quality, and scalability.
  • Manage and influence contract manufacturers to deliver units that meet business objectives and forecasts, prioritizing quality, cost, and timeline.
  • Negotiate supplier agreements to align with Hyperfine business objectives.
  • Lead strategic and operational planning workstreams.
  • Drive cost reduction efforts throughout the supply chain.
  • Oversee global logistics functions and teams to ensure effective movement, distribution, and delivery of systems to meet business goals.

Requirements:

  • Diverse supply chain background with demonstrated end-to-end business acumen, including experience managing engineering and manufacturing teams, launching new products, and people management.
  • Thorough understanding of medical device product lifecycles.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with emphasis on data-driven decisions.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from internal stakeholders, suppliers, customers, and the public when necessary.
  • Proven negotiation, communication, and influencing skills.
  • Track record of leading and motivating teams.
  • Ability to solve problems and make decisions, as well as think strategically.

This role requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related field, with 8+ years of experience in complex medical device supply chain management, including experience managing tiered suppliers and working with international teams.
