POSITION OVERVIEW:

Your primary responsibility will be to prepare meals according to specified dietary requirements, community protocols, and food safety regulations, under the guidance of the Food Service Director. You will also perform additional tasks as assigned by community representatives. Adhere to all health, sanitation, and infection control policies while maintaining the standards set by the community's administration and Dietary Policies and Procedures.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
  • Must have a solid understanding of food safety and sanitation principles and comply with state-specific food handler training requirements.
  • Effective communication skills in English, with the ability to follow both verbal and written instructions.
  • Demonstrated capability to execute both verbal and written directives.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail are essential.
  • Ability to collaborate with supervisors, colleagues, and community staff in fulfilling duties.
  • Competence in observing proper safety and sanitation practices.
  • Flexibility to work hours as scheduled based on the position's requirements.
  • Must not pose a direct threat to the health and safety of others in the workplace.
Experience:
  • Prior experience in long-term care is preferred but not mandatory.
Work Schedule and Compensation:
  • Full-Time and Part-Time Positions Available
  • Shifts Required: Day and Evening Meal Shifts
