About the Role:

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) plays a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents. As a CNA, you will assist the licensed nursing staff by performing routine nursing duties and activities of daily living.

Responsibilities include:

Assisting residents with dressing, grooming, eating, bathing, positioning, turning, toileting, and exercising.

Giving treatment, performing tests, carrying out procedures, and collecting specimens as instructed.

Reporting and recording observations and results of treatments, tests, procedures, and specimens when indicated.

Transferring, transporting, and escorting residents as needed.

Answering signal lights promptly.

Changing bed linens, making beds, and keeping rooms clean and orderly.

Requirements include:

Successful completion from a state-approved geriatric nursing assistant training program.

Prior geriatric nursing aide experience is preferred.

Registration with the state registry required.

Ability to understand and follow instructions in English, communicate effectively, and perform simple arithmetic.

Ability to document care given.

High school diploma or equivalent.
