We are seeking a compassionate and adaptable Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team as a Travel LPN. This opportunity allows an LPN to travel locally by working in various GSS locations within a 150-mile radius from home address, providing care with competitive pay, mileage reimbursement, flexibility, and no contract requirement.

About the Role

The Good Samaritan Society is committed to providing quality care and service in a Christian environment. As a Travel LPN, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient care, demonstrating knowledge of nursing principles, and utilizing your skills to evaluate data reflective of the resident's status.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the health, comfort, and safety of residents
  • Contribute to the assessment of residents and administer medications or treatments as ordered
  • Provide technical support to healthcare professionals as needed
  • Document resident interactions and outcomes related to resident care, medication, behavior, activity, and dietary
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • A graduate degree from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse
  • An associate degree in practical nursing is preferred
  • If position requires IV therapy/management skills, completion of an IV Therapy course approved by the North Dakota Board of Nursing
  • A minimum of 400 hours of experience as LPN at another facility
  • Currently holds an unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with State Nursing board and/or possess multi-state licensure privileges
