This position provides an opportunity to engage in significant cases and contribute positively to the protection of employee rights.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all phases of litigation, including case strategy, discovery, motions, depositions, and trial preparation.
- Advocate for clients in class action cases concerning employment law matters such as wage and hour disputes, discrimination, harassment, and wrongful termination.
- Conduct comprehensive legal research and prepare pleadings, briefs, and various legal documents.
- Collaborate with fellow attorneys, paralegals, and support personnel to ensure efficient case management.
- Offer expert legal counsel to clients while fostering strong client relationships.
- Negotiate settlements and engage in mediations and arbitrations.
- Remain informed about the latest trends and changes in employment law and class action litigation.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law institution.
- Must hold admission to the California Bar and maintain good standing.
- A minimum of 2+ years of litigation experience, particularly in employment law and class action matters.
- Demonstrated success in managing complex class action lawsuits.
- Strong analytical, research, and writing capabilities.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
- High standards of professionalism, integrity, and meticulous attention to detail.
