Position Overview
We are seeking a talented Cook to join our team and create mouthwatering meals. A proficient cook should be capable of adhering to recipes and instructions, while demonstrating agility in the kitchen and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Familiarity with diverse ingredients and cooking methods is essential.
Work Schedule
This position offers both Full Time and Part Time opportunities, with a requirement for weekend availability.
Key Responsibilities
- Organize workstations with all necessary ingredients and cooking tools.
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables and cutting meats.
- Cook, portion, and prepare food items for various meal services or special occasions.
- Follow basic recipes and production guidelines accurately.
- Ensure attractive presentation of dishes prior to serving.
- Maintain a clean and sanitized kitchen environment.
- Properly store all food and supplies.
- Adhere to all company HACCP and safety protocols.
- Demonstrated experience as a cook.
- Understanding of various cooking techniques and methods (e.g., grilling, baking, boiling).
- Familiarity with commercial kitchen appliances.
- Ability to comply with sanitation standards.
- Capacity to work collaboratively within a team.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to engage in continuous walking and other forms of mobility.
- Capability to reach, bend, stoop, push/pull, and frequently lift/move items weighing up to 30 pounds.
