We're seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team. As a CT Technologist, you'll perform diagnostic CT procedures with a high level of competence and independence.
Job SummaryUnder the administrative direction of the CT Manager, this role is responsible for performing diagnostic CT procedures, managing designated areas, and mentoring students as assigned. The successful candidate will work variable night shifts and some weekends.
Key Responsibilities- Perform diagnostic CT procedures with minimal supervision, demonstrating expertise in technical detail.
- Assume responsibility for designated areas, procedures, and students as assigned.
- Work variable night shifts and some weekends, adapting to changing schedules.
- Effective communication skills, enabling strong relationships with colleagues and patients.
- Organizational skills, allowing efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks.
- Ability to function effectively in emergency situations, maintaining composure under pressure.
- Normal or corrected vision for visual safety checks, ensuring patient safety.
- Normal or corrected hearing for safe interaction with patients and medical staff, promoting effective communication.
- Previous experience in CT technology, though not required; graduates of formal Radiologic Technology Training programs are also considered.
- Licensure with the Massachusetts Department of Public Health to practice Radiology in the state of Massachusetts.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Current Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)(R).
The estimated salary for this position is $65,000-$85,000 per year, depending on experience. Salem Health offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
