This role involves assisting the Education Abroad office in selecting candidates for scholarships and various international programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide academic counseling and guidance to students regarding their educational paths and life on campus.
  • Refer students to appropriate agencies or offices as necessary.
  • Gather and analyze data related to student assessments and contribute to recruitment and retention efforts.
  • Participate in special committees as required.
  • Ensure the accuracy of student records while maintaining confidentiality standards.
  • Facilitate new student orientation and outreach initiatives for prospective students from junior colleges.
  • Coordinate support services for students and prepare regular reports on student status.
  • Assist with departmental publications as needed.

Compensation: Hourly Rate: $22.00

Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree in Counseling, Education, or a related discipline is required, along with two (2) years of relevant experience. Note that work experience cannot substitute for the educational requirement.
