Job Title: Patient Service Representative

At Community Health Network, we are seeking a highly skilled Patient Service Representative to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support to our patients and providers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Check patients in for appointments and collect patient payments
  • Answer telephones, take accurate messages, and schedule appointments
  • Coordinate referrals and check insurance eligibility
  • Utilize electronic medical records to verify and update patient demographic information and post and balance payments collected
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • 1 year of experience in a healthcare environment or 2 years of customer service experience
  • Knowledge of medical terminology preferred
  • Experience with electronic medical records preferred
  • Strong computer skills, including experience with Intranet and Internet usage, Excel, Word, email, and web-based applications
