Position Overview:
Reporting to the Store Manager, the Sales and Service Associate serves as the primary customer service expert within the store.

The role involves exceeding customer expectations by actively listening to their needs, identifying suitable products, providing detailed information about the items of interest, and successfully completing sales transactions.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve and surpass sales targets
  • Uphold brand and operational standards (visual presentation, cleanliness, etc.)
  • Proactively address customer needs and exceed expectations by adhering to the U.N.I.Q.L.O. service standards, following the Uniqlo Fundamental Principles, and utilizing the six standard phrases.
  • Maintain knowledge of fitting room protocols and assist as necessary
  • Operate as a cashier when required, following established cashier procedures
  • Process incoming shipments and ensure that all merchandise is displayed on the sales floor in complete size runs
  • Collaborate with management to identify and resolve store-related issues
  • Provide customers with product and brand knowledge
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures and report any infractions to management
  • Assist with special projects as assigned by management
Required Skills and Abilities:
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to perform calculations, including discounts and percentages
  • Capability to stand for extended periods, read computer screens, and lift or carry objects weighing at least 25 pounds
  • Proficient in navigating the sales floor and stockroom, with the ability to bend, stand, twist, stoop, squat, and climb as needed
Education/Experience:
  • High School Diploma or G.E.D.
Schedule Requirements:
  • Flexibility to work a schedule that meets business needs, including evenings and weekends
