Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team at Intermountain Health. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for acquiring, manipulating, and processing computer-enhanced and radiographic images using Interventional Radiology equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Communicate with patients to obtain informed consents and ensure optimal results
  • Collaborate with Radiologists, referring physicians, and technologists to select procedural protocols
  • Assist in the coordination of patient care activities
  • Provide appropriate tray set-ups and perform surgical scrub procedures using sterile technique
  • Perform IV contrast injections, start IVs, and monitor patients under conscious sedation
  • Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory guidelines and requirements
Requirements
  • Graduate of an AMA-approved radiologic technology program
  • Current ARRT (R) credential
  • Demonstrated knowledge of cross-sectional and vascular anatomy and skill in recognition of normal and abnormal variants
  • Demonstrated knowledge of radiation safety
  • Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association
  • Current ACLS certification or ability to obtain within six months of hire
  • Current RTRCV certification or ability to obtain
  • Current VIR certification or ability to obtain within twenty-four months of hire
