Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and maintain Central Power Plant (CPP) steam generators, steam turbines, electrical chillers, and auxiliary machinery.
  • Oversee the work of the Jr. Plant Operator.
  • Perform tasks under general supervision, following standard procedures and using the tools and techniques of power plant operation and maintenance technology.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of power plant operation and maintenance theory, techniques, codes, procedures, and materials.
  • 5 years of related work experience required.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated competency to correctly operate all types of tools and equipment normally used in power plant operation and maintenance.
  • Ability to maintain pumps, valves, pneumatic controls, and compressors.
  • Proficiency in operating boilers, pumps, turbines, steam systems, and chillers.
