About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at Maplewood Senior Living. As a Cook, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional dining experiences for our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and serve high-quality meals to residents within scheduled time frames
  • Maintain a clean and safe food service environment, including the kitchen and dining room
  • Assist in inventory control and supervise servers as needed
  • Ensure resident diets are followed and meals are accounted for daily
  • Report any loss, breakage, or waste of supplies and equipment to the Culinary Service Director
Requirements
  • Serve Safe Certification required
  • Working knowledge of health and safety regulations in food preparation
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English
  • Knowledge of cooking times and temperatures, as well as various cuts of meat and seasonings
