Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Big Bend Regional. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the preparation and cooking of meats, fish, poultry, gravies, cereals, soups, vegetables, and other foods for service in our institutional setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute menus to meet the dietary needs of our clients
  • Supervise and direct the work of cooks and other culinary staff
  • Ensure high-quality food preparation and presentation
  • Manage food inventory and supplies
  • Collaborate with our nutrition team to develop and implement healthy meal options

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts or related field
  • Minimum 6 months of experience in a senior culinary role
  • Proven track record of leading high-performing culinary teams
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Familiarity with food safety and sanitation protocols
