Mechanical Assembly Technician

Job Summary
Path Engineering is seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembler to join our team. As a Mechanical Assembler, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient handling of products and materials, operating various vehicles for storage or removal of materials, preparing products for shipment, loading and unloading products, tracking and recording units of materials handled, and adhering to safety policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate pallet jack, forklift, or other industrial vehicles to move materials and products.
- Prepare products for shipment by packaging and labeling them correctly.
- Load and unload products from vehicles and storage areas.
- Track and record units of materials handled to ensure accurate inventory management.
- Adhere to safety policies and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
Requirements
- Experience in general labor, construction, or other related fields.
- Familiarity with pallet jack, forklift, or other industrial vehicles.
- Ability to handle physical workload and demonstrate a strong work ethic.
- Proficiency in mechanical assembly skills, excellent communication, and shop math skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
