Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Electromechanical Assembly Technician to join our team at Leonardo-DRS Menomonee Falls. As an Electromechanical Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for assembling and testing electromechanical systems, including crimping, soldering, and working with printed circuit boards and wire harnesses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and wire lists to assemble and test electromechanical systems
  • Provide assembly functions, including crimping, soldering, and working with printed circuit boards and wire harnesses
  • Communicate issues with work plans, drawings, tools, or materials with team members
  • Comply with all safety and regulatory requirements applicable to the company
  • Complete work correctly and efficiently
  • Support, reinforce, and defend the production of high-quality work
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED with a minimum of 2 years of experience
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and wire lists
  • Ability to follow written and oral instructions
  • Solid mechanical skills
  • Strong critical thinking skills
  • Detail-oriented
  • Ability to crimp a variety of contacts
  • Ability to comply with all safety and procedural rules
  • Basic knowledge of and ability to use computers, programs, and business tools
  • Soldering and wire bonding experience, preferred
  • Previous experience in a low-volume, high-mix manufacturing environment with build-to-print projects, preferred

Candidates must be a US citizen and meet DRS security standards as imposed by DoD, including the issuance of any necessary security clearance by the US government within a reasonable time after commencement of employment.
