Job Description

The Technical Instructor is a key member of the GE Vernova Learning Center team, responsible for delivering high-quality training to technicians and engineers working on renewable energy farms. This role requires a strong understanding of wind turbine technology and the ability to effectively communicate complex technical information to learners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver training programs for wind turbine technicians and engineers
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to create engaging and effective training content
  • Assess learner performance and provide feedback to improve training outcomes
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest wind turbine technologies and industry developments
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery of training programs
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, IT, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in power generation operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting
  • Ability to travel up to 30% of the time
  • Valid driver's license and passport
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience as a classroom instructor or trainer
  • Knowledge of GE wind turbine platforms
  • Wind farm site experience
  • Ability to work at heights and climb wind turbines

GE Vernova offers a competitive salary range of $78,800 - $131,300 per year, plus variable incentive compensation of 10%. We also provide a comprehensive benefits package, including healthcare, retirement savings, and tuition assistance.
