Job Description

We are seeking a talented Electrical Engineer to perform Electronics System Design and Platform Installation Design related to Communication Mission Payload Systems.

The ideal candidate will take ownership of hardware for multiple systems and programs, responsible for design, development, test, and integration of complex airborne communications systems.

Key responsibilities include wireless communication system architecture design, detailed electrical system design, and RF modeling, simulation, test, and analysis of new and existing systems.

This position requires working in a fast-paced, cross-functional collaborative team environment to meet cost, schedule, and technical performance goals.

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense (DoD) personnel security clearance required
  • 1-5 years of professional experience in a related engineering environment
  • Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM degree from an accredited institution
Preferred Qualifications
  • Masters of Science (MS) degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM degree from an accredited institution
  • Design and test experience in comm systems / RF technology
  • Integration of various Military radios on an airborne platform
Salary

At GALT Aerospace, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as one grows and develops within a role.

The pay range for this role is Level I: $84,000 - $96,000 and Level II: $96,000 - $115,000, candidate's base pay is determined on their skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
