Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled MRI Tech Aide to join our team. The successful candidate will provide a professional and caring atmosphere to all customer groups, assist technical staff, and maintain a fast-paced medical environment.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Follow all proper policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure patient safety at all times.
  2. Assist technologists in setting up the room, including setting up the proper coil for exams, ensuring clean linen, and making available any necessary items.
  3. Assist in the patient interview process, including conducting safety checks, gathering symptoms and history, and explaining procedures to patients.
  4. Assist technologists in setting patients up for exams, ensuring all safety devices are in place, and helping patients get comfortable.
  5. Assist technologists upon completion of exams, removing patients from the bore, removing safety equipment, and aiding patients off the table.
  6. Aid patients to changing areas and assist with checking that all paperwork is complete.
  7. Assist with data entry, cleaning, and stocking of exam rooms.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • CPR certification required.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to assist patients with mobility difficulties and lift a minimum of twenty-five pounds.
