Physician Assistant Fellow

This position is part of the Advanced Practice Immersion Program, a one-year program that provides mentoring, didactic teaching, simulation skills training, and experience to prepare Physician Assistants to become competent Front Line Ordering Clinicians.
As an Immersion Fellow, you will have opportunities to work in various ICU and inpatient medical/surgical teams, developing your skills and knowledge in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Under the direction of a supervising physician, you will be responsible for the direct care and follow-up of a population of patients, participating in education, clinical practice, consultation, and professional development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in the APP Fellowship program educational curriculum, completing post-tests and evaluations as a measure of competence.
- Utilize advanced assessment skills to support the management of a cohort of patients, performing and documenting daily assessments, collecting and analyzing data, and formulating a family-centered plan of care.
- Demonstrate a commitment to patient safety by speaking up about safety issues and changing practices to enhance safety.
Requirements:
- Certified Physician Assistant (PA-C) (Pennsylvania) - Pennsylvania State Licensing Board - Preferred
- Specialty Certification - Nursing - Preferred
- Master's Degree Physician Assistant Required
