Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Live Stream Camera Operator to join our team. As a Live Stream Camera Operator, you will be responsible for capturing high-quality video footage of youth basketball games and events, and streaming them live to our clients. This is a unique opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and be part of a dynamic team that is shaping the future of sports broadcasting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Setup and break down of camera and streaming equipment for assigned events
  • Video capture of all games on one court for the duration of the event
  • Live streaming management of all games on one court for the duration of the event
  • Assist the Production Lead with video file transfers and management
  • High-volume video capture for events with back-to-back games
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail-oriented and reliable
  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Familiarity with camera and streaming equipment
  • 18 years or older

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience with sports video capture and live streaming
  • Knowledge and understanding of the sport of basketball
  • Transportation to and from event locations

Compensation and Benefits

Live Stream Camera Operators are compensated $25 per game, with approximately 8-10 games per day. Hours will be approximately 8:00am - 8:00pm, but may vary depending on the event.

Training and Support

Hired camera operators will receive remote training prior to the event and on-site training from the Production Lead.
