As an Asset Protection Associate at Giant Food, you will play a critical role in safeguarding our stores and ensuring a safe shopping environment for our customers. Your primary responsibility will be to investigate and prevent loss of assets, including merchandise, money, and property. You will work closely with store management to identify and address potential security risks, and implement strategies to reduce shrinkage and improve store security.
Key Responsibilities:
- Investigate and resolve internal and external theft incidents
- Monitor and analyze store security footage to identify potential security risks
- Collaborate with store management to develop and implement security protocols
- Conduct regular store tours to identify areas of improvement and implement corrective action
- Review shrink reports and assist in reacting to issues and opportunities
Requirements:
- High School Diploma
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation
- Up to one year of related experience
- Knowledge of criminal laws applicable to various state and local jurisdictions
- Maintain strict confidentiality of all investigation-related information
