Essential Qualifications:
- Proficient in TIG Welding, specifically with stainless steel
- Experience in pipefitting
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities
- High School Diploma or GED required
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure adherence to relevant Corporate and Divisional Policies and procedures.
Possess pipefitting skills and efficiently install various types of piping systems.
Cut metals to specified dimensions with precision.
Successfully complete all Welding qualification assessments and maintain current certifications.
Purge weld pipes to eliminate impurities, preventing contamination in solutions and irrigation systems, utilizing inert gases such as Argon and Carbon Dioxide.
Capable of operating hand and power tools and interpreting gauges accurately.
Familiarity with engineering standards and their locations is essential. Must possess comprehensive mathematical skills, including shop math for fractions and angles necessary for layouts.
Execute electric high-frequency welding on aluminum components.
Potential to achieve certification through the State of Illinois for welding on tanks under ASME section IX.
- Must be willing to learn passivation and pickle paste procedures.
- Possess a solid understanding of valve operations.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, manage projects efficiently, stay organized, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong troubleshooting skills are essential.
- Proficient in setting up and using Gas Cutting Equipment.
- Capable of soldering tasks.
- Skilled in setting up and operating Electric Shielded Metal Arc Welder (SMAC).
- Experienced in setting up and operating Electric Inert Gas Welder (MIG) and Electric Gas Tungsten Inert Gas Welder (TIG).
