Job Description

This role involves acting as the Structural Engineer of record for building design projects, performing QA and sign-off on calculations and plans, and conducting feasibility studies. You will also assist with business development, client relations, and proposal writing.

Responsibilities:
  • Act as the Structural Engineer of record for building design projects.
  • Perform QA and sign-off on calculations and plans.
  • Conduct feasibility studies.
  • Assist with business development.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships.

In addition, you will oversee clients, projects, and engineering staff, including coaching and mentoring junior engineers.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must have outstanding structural design experience with new and existing building structures. Extensive knowledge of building codes and standards for various building materials and components is required. Proficiency with structural design software (e.g., STAAD, RISA) is essential, and Revit experience is a plus.

  • Bachelor's degree and Professional Engineer (PE) license in New Hampshire.
  • A minimum of ten years of professional experience in building structural design, analysis, and renovation.

This role offers a highly competitive salary of $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience, along with an excellent benefits package and relocation assistance from within the Continental United States. The majority of the time will be spent in the office, with flexibility for hybrid work arrangements.
