The Mobile Chef will oversee the daily operations of our food truck program, collaborating with the Executive Chef to create innovative menus that focus on nutrition, including plant-based and vegan dishes. Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the daily operations of the food truck program, ensuring smooth execution and high-quality food service.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef to develop and implement menus that meet the nutritional needs of our clients.
  • Train and supervise food truck staff, assigning roles based on experience and skills.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene codes and standards.
  • Manage food and supply orders, submitting them to the Director in a timely manner.
  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently using the POS system.
  • Run daily POS reports to ensure accuracy and identify potential discrepancies.
  • Communicate effectively with the Director and other team members to ensure seamless operations.
Requirements:
  • Culinary Arts Degree
  • At least two years of culinary managerial experience
  • Previous food truck operations experience preferred
  • ServSafe Manager certification
Abilities:
  • Ability to produce high-quality culinary experiences for our clients
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
