Position Overview:

The Dietary Aide plays a crucial role in ensuring cleanliness and sanitation within the kitchen and dishwashing areas. This position involves a variety of responsibilities aimed at maintaining the hygiene of floors, walls, dish machines, and kitchen equipment. The Dietary Aide will also assist with material handling tasks as required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain sanitary conditions in kitchen and pot & pan areas.
  • Perform cleaning tasks for floors, walls, and kitchen equipment.
  • Assist material handlers as needed.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • 1-2 years of experience in food service within an institutional or commercial environment is preferred.
  • Familiarity with chemical sanitizers is essential.

Certification Requirements:

  • Must possess a valid City of Ft. Worth Food Handlers Card prior to employment.
  • The card must remain current throughout the duration of employment.
