Job Overview

We are a leading automation consulting firm that specializes in revolutionizing production processes to increase manufacturing productivity.

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Automation Controls Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for communicating project details clearly with the team and customers, leading design reviews, documenting all design calculations, creating construction, demolition, and installation instructions, and developing detailed drawings for various aspects of our projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Communicate project details accurately and efficiently to ensure timely completion
  • Lead design reviews with clients to ensure outlined scope is met
  • Document all design calculations for future reference
  • Create comprehensive instructions for construction, demolition, and installation
  • Develop detailed drawings for demolition, installation, panel layouts, conduit setups, wire schedules, power loads, and panel heat calculation
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
  • 480 VAC power distribution expertise
  • Experience with variable frequency drives and servo drives
  • Proficiency in PLC's and I/O systems, distributed control systems
  • National Electric Code expertise, including wire sizing and de-rating, conduit sizing, and installation requirements
  • Pneumatics and hydraulics experience
  • Proficient in using AutoCAD

Compensation: The estimated annual salary for this role is $90,000 - $135,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
