Senior Desktop Engineer

The Senior Desktop Engineer is responsible for evaluating the current desktop environment and leading the development of roadmaps and plans towards a more agile model for our customers.
The role involves mentoring and coaching a team of desktop and support analysts through a series of projects aimed at advancing our organization to the next level of desktop technologies.
Key responsibilities include planning and implementing Windows 10 and MacOS High Sierra deployments, integrating single sign-on into applications, and maintaining in-depth knowledge of industry standards and technology trends.
Additionally, the Senior Desktop Engineer will be responsible for monitoring and utilizing the service desk ticketing system to resolve client issues in a timely manner and creating and maintaining processes and documents pertaining to the managed workstation environment.
Strong understanding and ability to use SCCM, Tanium, Casper, or other similar tools is required.
The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of experience with managing Computers, both Windows and Mac platforms, and demonstrated ability in desktop and systems design.
Preferred qualifications include MCSE Enterprise Devices and Apps or Data Platform or Server Infrastructure, MS Specialist for Configuring Windows Devices or Planning for and Managing Devices in the Enterprise, and Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA), or equivalent.
