As a Manufacturing Mechanic, your primary responsibilities will include the maintenance, repair, and setup of production machinery. You will follow established procedures and provide training to production staff on the safe operation and setup of equipment. Additionally, you will assist with specialized technical projects within the facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Maintain a cooperative and diplomatic working relationship with colleagues, supervisors, and the public.
  2. Support the production department in daily machine operations.
  3. Ensure a clean and safe working environment, reporting any issues immediately.
  4. Follow preventative maintenance protocols and perform necessary repairs.
  5. Comply with all written documentation and procedures.


Qualifications and Educational Requirements:

  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience using SAE and metric hand tools.
  • At least three (3) years of experience maintaining facility and manufacturing equipment that utilizes PLC or controlled mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
  • Ability to read blueprints and schematic diagrams.
  • Familiarity with equipment such as bottle filling, tube filling, box erecting and closing machines, heating, AC, and/or ventilation systems.
  • Experience with CGMP and/or FDA regulations is a plus.
  • High school diploma with four (4) years of experience in various engineering fields related to manufacturing, quality control, equipment design, facilities, and process development.
  • Preferred experience in electronic technology or manufacturing technology.
