Key Responsibilities

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team at Watkins Wellness. As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing inspections, troubleshooting, maintenance, repair, and servicing of shop and production equipment, components, and machinery.

You will also be responsible for identifying root causes of various issues, repairing equipment to the highest quality standard, and proactively performing preventative maintenance to all production and building equipment.

Additionally, you will work according to established safety and other requirements, prioritize safety, and follow our various safety rules and regulations.

You will also be expected to provide excellent customer service, serve a critical function at Watkins Wellness, and keep our production equipment and building systems operating as needed.

Key qualifications include a high school diploma or general education degree (GED), at least 3-5 years' maintenance mechanic experience in a manufacturing environment, and experience using MS Office suite, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

You must also have the ability to understand and explain basic electrical theory, including OHMS law, and be able to demonstrate understanding of simple circuits, both AC and DC, up to 480 Volts.

Furthermore, you must have the ability to test and troubleshoot a motor and motor controls, understand and explain basic fluid power principles, and have basic fabrication skills, including the ability to perform repair welding and basic drilling, bolting, and torquing for various fasteners.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels within the organization, including the ability to present information to a group of co-workers, supervisors, managers, or higher-level executives, are also required.
