- Manage medical and office supplies, maintaining a well-stocked inventory and adhering to practice standards.
- Process clinical supply orders, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines and practice policies.
- Administer injections, EKGs, spirometry, and phlebotomy, as instructed by physicians, and maintain accurate records.
- Determine patient eligibility for Medicaid EVS and identify referral and preauthorization needs.
- Provide exceptional customer service, answering calls, greeting patients, and maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Accurately document patient information, vital signs, and medical records, adhering to electronic health record guidelines.
- Support healthcare providers in medical examinations, patient preparation, and general assistance.
- Perform other projects and duties as assigned.
- Documentation of certification from an accredited medical assistant training program is preferred.
- One year of experience in a medical office setting, with expertise in operating multi-line phone systems, fax machines, and medical equipment.
- CMA, RMA, or AAMA certification is preferred, as well as American Heart Association Health Care Provider CPR certification.
This role requires exposure to blood-borne pathogens and involves heavy physical demands, including lifting up to 100 pounds.
