We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Pharmacist to join our team at the University of California, Irvine. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the delivery of high-quality pharmaceutical services.
Key Responsibilities- Perform daily responsibilities of drug distribution, computer drug and IV order processing, and therapeutic intervention as needed.
- Provide drug information and consultation to other professional staff and patients.
- Maintain patient profiles, attend cardio-pulmonary emergencies, and monitor drug therapy.
- Direct technicians, perform inventory control, and actively precept pharmacy residents, students, technicians, or interns as assigned by the supervisor.
- Possession of the legal requirements for the practice of pharmacy as determined by the CA Board of Pharmacy.
- One year of clinical experience as a licensed pharmacist.
- Current BLS or ACLS upon hire.
- Pharm.D. highly desirable.
