Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Shop Superintendent to lead our Post-Tension operations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the production of post-tension cables, managing shop employees, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Production Management: Supervise production operators to meet customer specifications, manage annual reviews, and coach employees on employee relations issues and development opportunities.
  • Inventory Management: Ensure stock materials are received, inspected, and tagged correctly, and direct production reports for each shift.
  • Safety and Compliance: Partner with the Safety Manager to direct safety meetings, ensure ongoing safety training, and maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Leadership and Development: Lead department personnel in a professional manner, select, supervise, evaluate, and develop staff, and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience preferred.
  • Communication: Able to clearly communicate requirements, expectations, issues, and feedback.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to multitask and handle stress in a highly productive environment, and participate in problem-solving in all areas of the plant.
  • Education: High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience is required.
