Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and talented individual to assist our test engineering team with the design and development of test systems for leading-edge military and space-based products. As a test engineering intern, you will work under direct supervision to develop hardware and software for automated test systems and gain knowledge in RF, analog, and digital test methods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work independently or within a team environment to develop test procedures, test stations, and data reduction software.
  • Support test software development in LabVIEW, MATLAB, Visual Basic, Python, C/C++, and HT/HP Basic.
  • Design test fixture circuitry to support testing by applying knowledge and principles of electronic theory, testing methodology, and electronic engineering.
  • Generate test plans and procedures from customer and/or engineering specifications.
  • Participate in continuous improvement test-related activities.
Requirements
  • A basic understanding and strong interest in analog and digital electronics and/or microwave theory.
  • Interest in software development and exposure to a programming language.
  • Interest in test and process automation.
  • Comfortable with hands-on work, including manual trial testing, soldering, and fixture assembly.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Strong analytical ability and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong computer skills, specifically Microsoft Office.
  • Actively pursues opportunities to expand job-related knowledge.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Education and Experience
  • Majoring in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
  • Electromagnetics and Microelectronics coursework preferred.
  • Programming experience desired.
Compensation

Compensation ranges for roles at TTM Technologies vary depending on a wide array of factors, including skill sets, experience, and training. A reasonable estimate of the current range is: $32,589 - $48,883. Additional compensation may apply based on position assignment, including an annual or quarterly company bonus and shift premium for alternative shifts.

Export Statement

Must comply with TTM Export Control Policies and Procedures and all applicable laws, including ITAR, EAR, and OFAC. This includes identifying ITAR products on the manufacturing floor, understanding restricted access to these products and related technical data, and managing vendor approvals for ITAR manufacturing and services.
