Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Critical Care Specialist to join our team of dedicated professionals. As a STAT nurse, you will be responsible for providing specialized care to patients, employees, and visitors requiring acute medical attention. You will work closely with other healthcare teams to ensure seamless care delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to emergency situations such as Code Blue, Code Malignant Hyperthermia, and Code Pink.
- Provide critical care to patients in ICUs and on the floor.
- Manage ICU patients on the floor and facilitate their transfer to higher levels of care when needed.
- Utilize problem-focused physical exams to evaluate and treat patients according to established protocols.
- Collaborate with other healthcare teams to ensure effective communication and coordination.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- A minimum of three (3) years recent Intensive Care clinical experience.
- BLS/ACLS certification.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
