Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled API Inspector to join our team at Acuren Inspection, Inc. As an API Inspector, you will be responsible for performing visual and non-destructive examinations of stationary equipment in accordance with API and ASME standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform visual and non-destructive examinations of static and dynamic pressure retaining equipment in accordance with API standards and ASME codes.
  • Submit technically accurate reports documenting equipment condition to clients.
  • Provide clients with technical recommendations for the repair, re-rate, replacement, and/or alteration of plant equipment.
  • Provide technical input to clients on welding and metallurgical issues.
  • Provide technical guidance on the application of non-destructive examination techniques and procedures.
Requirements
  • Certification to American Petroleum Institute Standard API 653.
  • Active CWI certification is a plus.
  • NDT Level II Certifications Required.
  • TWIC Card required.
  • In-depth working knowledge of API 510/570 and ASME standards.
  • Experience working in direct support of petrochemical facility engineers.
