Position Summary:
Our Services Team is in search of a full-stack engineer with a strong focus on software quality and user experience.

Collaboratively, we will design, develop, and patent the next wave of Apple's revolutionary technologies, experiences, and services.


Key Responsibilities:
In this role, you will be responsible for:
  • Creating new features for Apple Services, driven by AI/ML technologies.
  • Engaging in partnerships throughout all phases of development, from ideation to experimentation, to bring next-generation concepts to life.
  • Working on both front-end deployments and back-end server-side components.
  • Collaborating closely with Design & UI/UX teams, AI/ML Scientists, and R&D Engineers to develop system experiences.

Minimum Qualifications:
- 8+ years of professional experience as a software engineer
- Deep knowledge of software engineering for Apple platforms, particularly iPhone and iPad
- Exceptional application-level development experience using Swift, Objective-C, Cocoa, or C++
- Proven experience with full-life cycle software development, object-oriented design, frameworks and daemons, distributed systems, and multi-threading concepts
- Proficiency in XCode, UI/UX design, and Core Data Management
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs for connecting iOS applications to back-end services
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset, along with strong problem-solving abilities
- Capability to design, architect, and complete projects independently
- Ability to collaborate effectively across a multidisciplinary team of engineers, researchers, and designers

Preferred Qualifications:
- BS/MS in Computer Science or a related field
- Background in ML and related tools is advantageous
- Familiarity with cloud environments such as AWS or GCP
- Proficient in container-based orchestration (Kubernetes, EC2, Mesos, etc.)
- Experience with database systems like Postgres
- Passion for enhancing customer experiences and attention to detail

Compensation & Benefits:
At Apple, base pay is one component of our comprehensive compensation package, determined within a specified range.

The base pay range for this position is between $175,800 and $312,200, depending on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Employees also have the opportunity to become shareholders through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs.

Additionally, employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards and can purchase Apple stock at a discount through the Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
