Job Title: Surgical Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team at Northwest Orthopaedic Specialists. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Ambulatory Surgery Center.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and maintain a clean and organized operating room environment.
  • Assist surgeons and other medical staff during surgical procedures.
  • Utilize preference cards and surgery schedules to ensure efficient case flow.
  • Conduct sponge and needle counts with RNs per procedure.
  • Dispose of biohazards and practice standard precautions at all times.
Requirements:
  • Washington State Surgical Tech Registration.
  • BLS certification.
  • Graduation from an accredited Surgical Technology Program.
  • Ability to problem solve and think critically in high-stress situations.
