Job Summary:

Tempus Unlimited, Inc. is a nonprofit organization that provides community-based services to empower children and adults with disabilities to live as independently as possible in the least restrictive environment. We are seeking a skilled Non-Profit Recruiter to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent for the organization.
  • Collaborate with the HR Manager and department managers to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria.
  • Identify and implement efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization.
  • Assist with job posting and advertisement processes.
  • Screens applications and selects qualified candidates.
  • Assist with the interview process, attending and conducting interviews with managers, directors, and other stakeholders as needed.
  • Collaborate with the hiring manager and/or other Human Resource staff during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.
  • Attend and participate in job fairs and recruiting events.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent work experience, required.
  • 1-3 years managing all phases of the recruitment process required
  • Experience with HRIS and Applicant Tracking Systems
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred.

Work Environment:

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers and scanners.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and/or hear. The employee is frequently required to sit; stand; walk; use hands and fingers and also must be able to reach with hands and arms. Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

Travel may be required for this position.
