About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team as a X-Ray Specialist. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality X-Ray services to healthcare facilities and nursing homes across the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform and process X-Rays using portable digital (DR) or computed (CR) radiography equipment and submit/transmit them to a Radiologist for interpretation.
  • Unload portable X-Ray equipment and take it into facilities to perform exams ordered by the physician, ensuring clinically diagnostic and technically competent x-ray images.
  • Perform EKGs (as needed) and transmit them to a Cardiologist for interpretation (if required).
  • Scan exam-related paperwork/billing documents on a daily basis per protocol.
  • Regularly communicate with dispatch and management, as well as interact professionally with peers, supervisory staff, and clients.
  • Maintain vehicle and X-Ray equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition.

Requirements
  • Maintain required State licenses and/or ARRT Certification, health requirements, and operational requirements.
  • Valid driver's license in the applicable state and in good current standing at all times.
  • COVID-19 Vaccinated Required, proof must be submitted in candidate packet at time of submission or candidate will be automatically declined.

The Radiologic Technologist may push/pull anywhere from 50 - 100 lbs. With the use of vehicle ramps and pulleys, this weight decreases. When the tech is pushing/pulling the equipment in a facility or home, the weight can increase. 50 lbs of force (or more) can occur 16 to 24 times a day.
